The rotation periods of cool stars: Measurements, uses, connections and prospects

Program

The talks will be 11 + 4 = 15 min (s) and 17 + 8 = 25 min (l)

Presenters are welcome to use their own laptops and software for their presentations.The projector is able to project multiple formats, including 16:9 (looks better) and 4:3, and accepts HDMI and VGA inputs. Presenters can access the projector wirelessly from their laptops and share their screens, but will need the Google Chrome browser to enable this. Alternatively, participants may bring a PDF presentation, which can be uploaded to a PC in the lecture room. Participants using non-standard presentation software or laptops are encouraged to test the system during a break.

The conference dinner will be at 19:00 in the Cafe of the Museum Barberini, in the heart of the historical centre of Potsdam. We also have 40 tickets available to enable you to explore the Museum prior to the dinner, 25/15 tickets allowing entry within the 1500-1600/1600-1700 windows respectively. In both cases, one may stay till museum closing time at 1900. Tickets can be requested at registration.
